Since its introduction in 1991, the Petite loudspeaker has won international acclaim as a potent audiophile product, with the ability to cut through layers of recording studio embellishments and reveal the essence of a musical performance.

Technical description
With the Petite 3 we have built upon these strengths to produce a loudspeaker which will give astonishing results – far in excess of its price and size – when used with excellent partnering equipment.

The Petite uses an EMIT ‘ribbon’ type tweeter, which delivers an open and natural treble. Great care has been taken to optimize the match between it and the Neat’s own bass/midrange unit, a 168mm treated paper cone type.

The enclosure is rigidly constructed from MDF and is tuned by a rear firing reflex port. The internal crossover network uses highest quality close-tolerance components and all connections are soldered. Bi-wire connectors are provided, and further performance gains can be made with bi-amplified operation. The Petite is intended for placement on rigid stands and can be used close to walls or in free space.
