CES 2003, Las Vegas, USA, at the 'Alexis Park' Resort Hotel. 9th - 12th January. The superb new Ultimatum MF7 loudspeakers made their US debut along with the equally fabulous Ultimatum MFS model. Electronics were from Dynavector, with the brand new L300 preamplifier and HX 1.2 and HX 75 power amplifiers sounding wonderful. With the analogue-only source (from VPI) being fronted with a Dynavector XV1S pickup cartridge (arguably the finest available at any price) and the brand new 507 mk2 tonearm, this room was a real Dynavector fest! We also made a feature of demonstrating the 'Super Stereo' processor, another Dynavector innovation, which involves the use of an additional pair of loudspeakers in an unusual configuration.
