An elegant, compact floorstanding loudspeaker, the MYSTIQUE is an affordable audiophile product, capable of filling even the largest rooms with a compelling depiction of all kinds of music. Deep, well controlled bass and seamless midrange/treble combine to produce believable stereo images, superb dynamics and an absorbing musical experience.

Technical description
Designed in the established NEAT fashion, by extensive listening, (no response measurements were taken during development), progressive modifications to the design were dictated solely by their effect on the music. Thus the MYSTIQUE is able to deliver consistently enjoyable performances from even the most complex and difficult recordings.

Constructed from high grade MDF, the MYSTIQUE incorporates NEAT’s custom-made 168mm bass/midrange drive unit and a 25mm fabric dome tweeter. The hard-wire crossover network uses close-tolerance air-cored inductors and polypropylene capacitators and is intended for bi-wiring/bi-amplification. Particular attention has been given to panel damping and internal wadding for exceptional clarity and bass control.

The lower 190mm of the enclosure is a separate cavity which is pre-loaded with ballast. An MDF baseplate fitted with M6 spikes enables firm floor coupling.

The MYSTIQUE possesses average sensitivity and is easy to set up and position. It can therefore be used in a wide range of systems and rooms.
